I will be gone for a long time.

So in two days i have invasive back surgery. I'll be bed-ridden for weeks afterwards and it will be months before i can paint again. I'm going to have to try to get my finished paintings scanned/photographed to get up on here. I just finished a large triptych painting of The Temptation of Christ. I'm very happy with it. It may be difficult to photograph well though. Ah well. I'll put up a few more photos in the next two days too. I'll miss this site and having new art to add to it. Goodbye everybody for now.

Hi! Long time no see!
Sorry for the late reaction, due to a three weeks holiday and 2 expositions, and photographing a wedding. All nice things, but they take lots of time! :D
Wonder how you are! Hope everything is fine with you and your art.

How have you been? Sold some work? And how's your health at the moment?
Yes, I've been pretty busy indeed. And when autumn starts I always start
feeling depressed. It took some time this autumn, but it's hard to get me
of the cough and become active. I bet you know what it's like. But I'm doing
my best to stay active. I guess it's the light I'm missing, because I really love
this season. The colours of the leafs, the mist....

Argh, i haven't sold anything in a while, but i did get to do a fashion/pin up photoshoot with a co-worker of my wife's last week. That makes up for not being able to paint much right now. My back has been really bad, and i go in for surgery December 2. I won't be able to do anything for a while again while i heal, so i'm trying to get as much done as i can now. :)

I know the feeling of missing the colours and mists of autumn. I want to go hiking up in the mountains and the canyons here, but i can barely walk around the house so i'll have to wait until next year when i'll be healed up. They don't even have really good mists here due to the geography. I need to move back to New England. ;)

Sorry to hear you haven't sold anything in a while, but great you
did a fasion/pin upshoot. Do you thing you get more opportunity's
for shoots like this?
I really hope that the surgery will help, and that your back will be
good again. My sister-in-law had a back surgery some weeks ago.
She is feeling much better now, but still cannot go to work.
She's got to do a lot of exercises.
