The other night i did a photoshoot with my wife's friend and co-worker Alley for her modeling portfolio. I got a lot of great shots that i will have up as soon as she finds the power cable for her camera, which is sitting here on my desk with dead batteries. I can't wait to get the shots up as i'm very happy with how they turned out.

Also, having back surgery in a month. Recuperation will be long and horrible and very restrictive, so i don't know how much painting i'll get done at all in the next six months. I'll try to get something done during this time though.

So i often go for long periods of not updating this site in any way. Sometimes i go for long periods where i am just not up to painting, photographing, or being on the computer. Lately this has not been the case and i've been painting, taking photos (some of them are up already), and tattooing. My bitch of an old tattoo artist told me to go fuck myself because i didn't show up at her house at the right time. Good reason, huh? She also demanded back all the equipment she had given me, broken, and that i'd had fixed. Bitch. But anyway... I fnially got a bunch of my own equipment again and if you haven't seen me or my work up here it's because i'm tattooing. I'm learning. I'm learning quickly. I'm doing it a lot. It takes up a lot of my time.

Ok, and i've been a little lazy when it comes to scanning, but it takes me 1/2 hour to scan a small painting and much longer for a larger one, which is all i paint these days. So i hate scanning. Just be patient. Now i need to go massage some moisturizer into my healing tattoos.

(Oh yeah, once the tattoos heal and actually look good enough to take photos of, i will put them up here.)

So yeah, i really need to sell a painting. Money is tight around here right now. Want to buy one? Know an art collector you can refer to my gallery? Please do! My asking prices are usually around $500 for a painting, but may be a little more depending on the individual piece. Help a poor artist out. Please?

I know this is pathetic, but hey, it's a piece of collectable art that will be worth way more in a few years. I guarantee it. I've still got 3-4 paintings to scan and several more in the works. I'll post them as i get around to it.

Eh, i know i stay away for weeks at a time, sometimes more. I don't like spending a lot of time online. It's also a real pain in the ass to digitize my paintings. I don't have a good digital camera and scanning only works on watercolours and then only on smaller ones, and lately i've been painting larger paintings and mostly in other media. Anyway. I have about six paintings done and another 3-4 in the works. I'll try to get them scanned or photographed soon. I just took some photos of one; if they turn out ok i'll put them up today.

So yeah, i know following me can be boring but at least i don't clog up in the inbox with nothing but photos of my five cats, right? If you like my paintings, or photography for that matter, please do follow. I do get new things up now and then. I've been writing a lot too, but i'm wondering if i should start a seperate account for my writings or keep putting them up here? You tell me.
